Somani Abduction case: Pappu Chaudhary, Mastermind behind the abduction gets arrested in Mumbai

Raipur: Businessman from Vapi district Praveen Somani was abducted on January 8, 2020, for a ransom of Rs 30 crore. The kidnapper was arrested by the Gujarat police during the ransom collection in Mumbai. The main accused identified as Pappu Chaudhary was absconding since then.
Lately, the Gujarat police detained the accused along with his partners in crime in Mumbai. The Raipur police team will soon leave for Gujarat to remand Pappu Chaudhary and his mates namely Anil Chaudhary, Munna Nahak, Kalia, Pradeep alias Babu, Dr Aftab Ahmed. Cyber cell additional SP Abhishek Maheshwari confirmed the arrest of the mastermind.
Who is Pappu Chaudhary?
Pappu Chaudhary is the accused who works for Chandan Sonar, one of the biggest miscreants in Bihar. The plan to kidnap businessman Praveen Somani included 10 accused along with Pappu. Of these, 4 accused are from Gujarat, while 6 are from UP-Bihar. In this case, the police have arrested seven accused, and Pappu Chaudhary will be arrested as the eighth accused.
