Sonipat’s Wrestler Murder: Accused Coach, His Associate Arrested In Delhi

New Delhi: The main culprit, instructor Pawan, and his friend Sachin were nabbed in Dwarka, Delhi, is a key step in the murder case of young Haryana wrestler Nisha Dahiya. “Coach Pawan and his aide Sachin, the main suspects, have been captured. Both of the accused were apprehended in Dwarka by the Delhi Police Special Cell “According to the police, Sujata Dahiya, the coach’s wife, and Amit Dahiya, the coach’s brother-in-law, were arrested by Haryana Police on Thursday in connection with the murder of Nisha Dahiya and her brother. A reward of Rs 1 lakh was declared by the police for information on Pawan and Sachin.
Nisha Dahiya, 21, and her brother were shot dead and their mother was hospitalised after her coach and his friends opened fire at them in Halalpur village of Haryana’s Sonipat district on Wednesday. Pawan’s wife Sujata and brother-in-law Amit were arrested in Rohtak, according to police, since they were present when Nisha and her brother were shot dead at the academy. Dr. Jai Bhagwan, the chief medical officer in Sonipat, said 4 gunshots were discovered from the wrestler’s body and3 from her brother’s.
Meanwhile, the mother of the deceased wrestler told the police that the coach used to come to their house since her daughter attended his wrestling programme daily. The coach was found in possession of a licenced revolver. Meanwhile, Sachin has been charged with two counts of violating the Arms Act. After the mother of the deceased wrestler Nisha Dahiya said that the accused coach Pawan abused her daughter, her father, Dayanand Dahiya, claims that he also tormented and misled her.
