Sourav Ganguly Tests Positive For Covid, Admitted To Hospital

BCCI chief and former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly tested positive for coronavirus informed the cricket board on Tuesday morning. Ganguly is reportedly isolated and under observation, the board further added.
“He was taken to Woodlands Nursing Home last night. He has been given medication and is currently stable,” a BCCI source, who is keeping track of Ganguly’s health,” the statement read.The 49-year-old cricketer has been visiting the hospital much frequently.
Earlier this year, he was admitted twice as he underwent emergency angioplasty after being diagnosed with cardiac issues. Initially, he was admitted at Woodlands Hospital where his chest discomfort was described a heart attack based on which he underwent angioplasty. Months, later he was admitted to Apollo Gleneagles Hospital, where he underwent another angioplasty where doctors confirmed placement of two stents.
Moreover this year, his elder brother Snehasish Ganguly had also tested positive for coronavirus.a
