Bhopal: Performing Yoga with students in Bhopal on the ocassion of Int’l Yoga Day at Lal Parade ground, CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan highlighted the importance of yoga and shared an experience of his about benefits of Yoga.
He further informed that a yoga commission will be set up to make the practice reachable to everyone. It is also learnt that schools in the state would also be provide yoga classes as a part of extracurricular activities.
The United Nations declared 21 June as the International Day of Yoga on 11 December, 2014. The draft resolution was passed by India and it was supported by 177 other nations. The first International Yoga Day was grandly celebrated on 21 June, 2015.
